Megalin Antagonists

ReceptIcon's discovery programs include

1. Megalin antagonists for protection against aminoglycoside-mediated nephrotoxicity
2. A pipeline of active compounds for the prevention of nephrotoxic and ototoxic side affects of other therapeutic drugs
3. Compounds for inhibition of steroid hormone function.

For the lead project (1), the efficacy of drug candidates have been verified by proof of concept studies in a rat model. ReceptIcon will soon initiate the next phase which will include preclinical safety testing, GMP manufacturing and the first clinical study in man.
