Michael Bols
Michael Bols is a professor in bioorganic and combinatorial chemistry at the University of Aarhus . He has many years of research experience in organic and medicinal chemistry from academia and the pharmaceutical industry, as well as teaching experience in the field. He has experience in structure activity relationships, lead discovery and development, patenting of pharmaceuticals as well as chemical synthesis. He has published more than 120 scientific papers and filed 5 patents or patent applications. He was a co-founder of the medicinal chemistry studies at the University of Aarhus.

Ulrik Lassen
Ulrik V. Lassen has a medical degree from the University of Copenhagen and served at the University Hospital of Copenhagen (internal medicine) for several years. Subsequently he was appointed professor of general physiology, Science Faculty, University of Copenhagen. In 1979 he became Chief Scientific Officer at Novo Nordisk A/S. 1992 - 2000 he was director of The Novo Nordisk Foundation. He has served on several major research granting organizations including the Danish Medical Research Council and the Danish National Research Foundation. 1994 - 2000 he was chairman of Risoe National Laboratory. He has extensive experience in the collaboration between academic research and industry. He is a member of the Royal Danish Academy.
